Rubbing my finger across a kitchen knife. The knife has a smooth part and a part with little indents, so there are sounds with each sample. Recorded with my lumix g7 camera with rode video micro attached to it.

A background sound design element used to create suspense in a horror scene. Very subtle, flowing modulation. Sounds similar to wind. Recorded with a roland groovebox self-sample utility straight to wav, though results in reduced high frequencies.

A creepy cold and metallic soporific sound effect with suspenseful, slightly human tones. Same method as tunnel riser except i focused on making the sound a short suspenseful cue for music or that realization of destabilization.

Explosion sound. The explosion sound was a mixture of a the initial explosion, the a wind sound that may be heard when there is an explosion and the rumble effect that would also be picked up on. I had to re sample all of these separate operator sounds and then put the audio track in a sampler the add some final touches. These included large hall reverb and utility for the large impact explosion and rumble sound as well as panning, reverb and delay for the wind sound to give it the effect of traveling around a surrounding area with the sound slowly decaying.

I took synthwave vibe loop from sss_samples and added some afro percussion, strings and wobble bass and turned this 80's disco flashback into a slightly more jiggy and definitely lubed up and wobblized. . Made this using an echo. Sounds like something from eraserhead. Tweaked around the knobs and settings throughout so theres quite a bit of different noises in this sample. Use it however you like.

No fuss 3 stage asr (analog shift register) patch. I sample from a quantizer but still its not exact pitch. The sound start with a short decay. I will gradually increase the decay time of the three sounds.

Something i threw together for a personal project i was working on. I couldn't find any high quality samples of a dragon so i decided to make my own. This was created using ableton and contains the following sounds:a dog growlinga lion roara horse gruntingan elephant vocalisinga flamethrower sound. All sounds used were obtained from royalty free websites and manipulated using software so that the original samples are not identifiable. The combining, layering and processing of the sounds were all done by myself within my daw. I hope those of you who find this are able to make great use of it. Cinematic impact. Dark, distorted, large, powerful. Original samples made using an acoustic guitar as a resonator for an electric bass, and recorded using a zoom h4n. Processing includes layering, reversing, amp simulation, distortion, delay and reverb. Recorded for my personal a sound a day challenge (asoada).

Triplet drum beat at 110 bpm, heavy swing feel. The sound has been treated with moderate eq and compression. The timing is not the most accurate; the suitability of this sample would depend on the importance of that.
